Who doesn’t love a success story?

Seeing METS horses in their new homes is one of our favorite things, so we wanted to share some placement updates that just gave us the warm-fuzzies!

Catie sent in this picture of La Malandrina standing perfectly for some farrier work last week. Good girl, Mal!

Quantico Queen gives owner Laura some kisses in exchange for treats. How cute is this?

“Lucille Ball was only the second cutest, funny redhead ever,” says Spud!

We’re hoping the snow is gone for the season, but check out Diego giving his humans a sled ride! How fun is that?

Available Horse Spotlight: Allistar FC (Alli)

Allistar FC (“Alli”) is a 2000, 14.2hh Arabian mare looking for a new job! Alli has been trained to go English, though she would benefit from a total restart as she hasn’t been under saddle in quite some time. She can be a bit spooky and hot, but she’s very sweet and is a trier! When she was in consistent training, she herself was much more confident. She’s barefoot, up-to-date on everything (though she will need an updated Coggins), and is currently out 24/7. She’s dominant in her herd, which comprises of another mare and a john mule. She’s wonderful for the vet and farrier. She’s registered, and all her paperwork and tack will go with her! She’s best suited for a confident, advanced handler and rider (an intermediate rider working closely with a trainer could be a good fit too!) who has a good sense of humor and is looking for a training project!
