Additional Information

Samson, a 15hh ~25-year-old Quarter Horse/Saddlebred gelding, is basically a puppy with four hooves. Quick to snuggle with new friends (his assessment ended up being a big cuddle session!), he loves people, dogs, horses . . . he loves anyone he can interact with! He’s a star for the farrier and vet, and he’s excellent with beginner handlers. Due to his age and some joint issues, his riding potential is limited to walking with a light rider. But his companion potential is nigh unmatched! He showed us he can still move with the best of them in the paddock (of course, this was after we’d put away the camera!), and his personality would enrich any herd! He’s good for baths, spraying, tacking, loading, etc. He’s good out at pasture 24/7, and he’s good in a stall. He’s an easy keeper, and he loves his soaked feed. He is just a happy, companionable, cooperative guy!
