Additional Information

Ragen’s Cricket, or “RC” for short, is a circa 1997 year old Quarter Horse mare looking for a loving retirement home. Up until the past couple of years, RC’s life and history is a mystery. Based on the saddle sore scars on her withers, it seems as though RC was ridden extensively before her current owner took her in. She is now looking for a new home where she can be relax and live out her days in peace, just getting groomed and loved on. The way to RC’s heart is through her belly. She LOVES treats! She does require a diet of senior feed and soaked hay cubes when not on grass. Catching her can be tricky, but once you have her in-hand she is easy to work around. RC ties, stalls, bathes, sprays, loads, and is good for shots, orals, and the farrier. RC has been kept with both mares and geldings, and forms close bonds with her herd mates. She’d be best suited as a companion with an owner that will take the time to gain RC’s trust and love. She is UTD on all care except Coggins, which will be drawn prior to rehoming.

Check out RC’s video! Look at that cute little trot!

RC is on a tight deadline to find a new home. If you or someone you know could give her a soft place to spend her retirement days, please inquire about her today!
