Additional Information

Phat Elvis, or “T” for short, is an 2011, 16h registered, unraced Thoroughbred gelding. This boy would make an excellent training project for someone looking to go into dressage, hunters, or trail/pleasure. “T” was born in PA and moved to South Carolina before his current owner purchased him several years ago. Since then, his owner has worked with him primarily on the ground. He has had a rider on his back within the past few years while being lead around and did very well, but has not been ridden extensively and will need a reintroduction to under saddle work. He is currently housed with both mares and geldings. “T” is dominant in the herd, but gets along well. He does well in stalls and is happy as long as he has hay in front of him, as he’s a very food-motivated guy! “T” is currently barefoot, but may need shoes once in regular work. He is good for the vet and does best with a patient, calm farrier. He has also recently had his teeth done (June 2020). If you’re looking for a nice project horse, give “T” some consideration and reach out to us for further discussion!
