Dauphin (Finn) is a handsome 2009, 15.2hh registered Thoroughbred gelding with chrome! He last raced in 2014 and has been with his current owner for 5 years where he was restarted in hopes of becoming a lower level dressage horse. In 2017, Finn was diagnosed with kissing spine and his owners followed through with the recommended surgery and rehab. While the pain in his back is likely resolved, Finn would be happiest in a companion home or a situation where he could focus on groundwork. While in rehab, Finn enjoyed groundwork and would pick it back up quickly with a refresher. He currently lives out in his field alone, but he has been kept with geldings in the past and sits in a neutral position within the herd. He respects fence lines, and he gets along with dogs and chickens. This guy is an easy keeper and lives barefoot. He is UTD on vet and farrier care, good for catching and leading, straight ties and cross ties . . . you name it! He is a pleasure to be around and he loves people! Inquire today!
