Additional Information

Chance is a very handsome 2007, 15.1h Rocky Mountain / Quarter Horse gelding looking for his new partner in crime! It has been about 5 years since he was last ridden, so he would need an experienced handler and rider to refresh his memory but would likely be suitable for an intermediate rider once he’s back in work. In the past, Chance has been ridden in the field and out on the trail and would likely make a nice pleasure horse for someone who is looking to enjoy their time outside of the ring. This guy is personable and is very food motivated and aims to please under saddle. Chance has a history with laminitic episodes mainly in the beginning of spring. This is controlled with daily medication and restricted pasture turnout. He would benefit from a dry lot or a situation where his grass intake could be closely monitored. He cross ties and is good for the vet, farrier, sprays, and doesn’t mind being in a stall. He currently lives with one other mare and has lived with a gelding in the past, so he would be happy in a mixed herd. Chance is up-to-date on farrier work and his owners would be willing to pull a Coggins prior to him moving to his new home.
